When quoting someone directly it is important to give the author/speaker credit. This can be done two ways either at the beginning of the quote or at the end.
Beginning Example
Martin Luther King, Jr. famously said, "I have a dream."
End Example
"I have a dream." (Martin Luther King, Jr.)
